Very thought provoking pictures. I very much doubt if anything that was built last year will still be standing in the year 6000. Here in Alberta the City of Edmonton is tearing down the city hall, which is about 30 years old. They say that it has reached the end of its expected life span.

I would sure like to see Persepolis, and other great old sites.

Thanks for posting those photos, Proshat. I think you should get hired to head the tourism board for Iran ;) You always make me want to take a vacation there. And *that* always makes me frustrated that other people's fights and disagreements are keeping me from seeing your part of the world.
